In January 2026, we conducted a series of interviews with young and older stakeholders aged between 7-35 years at the Humanitarian Aid International, NCR Camp, to gain inputs on concerns surrounding migration and assimilation. Focusing on the plight of migrant populations in conflict sensitive areas like Delhi and surrounding spaces, the interviews sought data for NGOs working towards housing, assisting, and ameliorating the conditions of underserved communities through participatory approaches. The questions were further divided into two sections - aiming to gain viewpoints from both; migrant families and the NGO staff, with regards to their past and current experiences with assimilation in India.Â
